I think it sounds great, even if I wouldn't use it myself. The Vs are definitely too much, and Vito makes me think of veto and vitamins, sorry. How about (taking the Italian theme):
Salvatore Alonzo
Salvatore Antonio
Salvatore Carlo
Salvatore Domenico
Salvatore Filippo
Salvatore Lorenzo
Salvatore TommasoAny you like?It works well as a mn actually, especially because it has a different ending to most Italian names.

I was just in Italy and met someone named Salvatore. His wife called him "Salvi". I think it's a cool name. And yes, I think the Vs in Salvatore Vito are a little too much.

I adore Salvatore. It is one of my favorite Italian boys' names. I would use it if I end up marrying an Italian. ;-)
Salvatore Vito works well in my opinion if both names are pronounced in Italian.

Well even though these names are not my style, they do flow and sound well together.

I honestly don't like these names. Although, they do sound good together.

I really like Salvatore a lot. I would like it with the nickname Tori- if you would use a nickname at all- over the nickname Sal.
Salvatore Vito has a nice flow but I'm not sure I like the two names paired together. Salvatore might need something a bit more traditional to pin it down. Salvatore Philip comes to mind or Salvatore Peter.

I know a Salvatore who goes by Sal. I like Salvatore but not Sal, which may be inevitable, unfortunately.I like Salvatore Vito, but unless you're Italian, I'd stay away. If I heard the name though, I'd assume it was someone's grandpa (around here, at least).

They sound cool together, although I don't really like either of the names.
