[Opinions] Re: Bathsheba?

Bathsheba makes a great Thomas Hardy heroine. But it would be hard to pull off in real life. I like it in theory, just not in practice. I have the same reaction to Balthazar for a boy.
The nn Sheba is difficult for me to see on a woman because that was our labrador retriever's name.
The name Scheherezade (sp?) has been going through my mind lately. It has the same feeling as Bathsheba.

Scheherezade
I love this name, and mostly because of the book 'Shadow Spinner'.

Scheherezade v. Bathsheba...
Mmmm... good book. It was my first introduction to the woman Scheherezade as a kid. I like Scheherezade much better than Bathsheba. To me, it has an entirely different feel: much more mysterious and beautiful.

I love Scheherazade! Lmao. The story is awesome. I think Hera or Zaddie (ZAY-dee, like Sadie) would be a really cool nn.
