I've never heard of it, but I've always loved Benedict.

My favorite is Leonore Therese Benedicte, even though that's not an option. I think Maxima + Benedicte is a bit much, but I love Leonore and all variants, and don't really like Imogen.

I've been pronouncing it 'ben-eh-DEEKT'. It's the French feminine form of Benedict, but I'm sure the French pronunciation is more like 'bay-nay-DEEKT' as there are accent marks over the first two 'E's.
