[Opinions] Halyna?

I was introduced to a girl (6-7 years old) named Halyna. For a while, I thought it was Alaina, because that's how everyone pronounced it (they did give a little bit of an 'h' sound, but I hadn't noticed until I saw it written down). WDYT?

This isn't meant as an insult at all, but my first thought is "hyena". :D

It definitely doesn't look like it should be pronounced that way. If it was said like that, I would think they would spell it Halayna, or something like that. I don't like the Halyna spelling... Actually, it just occurred to me that this is perhaps a spelling variation of Helena. A very bad spelling, that is, imo. I've never liked Helena much :-/
