[Opinions] Markel?
How do you prn it? MARK-el? mar-KELL? Curious, b/c whilst I love Gideon Marcus, DH doesn't really care for Marcus. I don't want to use just Mark / Marc, b/c it doesn't seem to flow as well, so I was thinking maybe Gideon Markel would work? Problem is, I've no idea how to prn it! Opinions and suggestions welcomed. TIA. :oD

Here's hoping.
Besides, our standing deal is that if one parent picks the fn (in this case, he picked Gideon), the other parent picks the mn. ;o) Plus, after each of our other children were born, DH pretty much said, "It's your choice." Something about seeing me in labor, I think... ;o)

I say mar-KELL, just by looking at it.
I have no idea if that's right, but that's what I would say if I was reading the name in the newspaper or something.

It reminds me of "marker" or "market". Maybe use Marko/Marco?
Sorry if I wasn't much help.
