[Opinions] Deaf-blind triplets from Dr Phil
http://deafness.about.com/od/deafblind/a/dbtriplets.htmHere is a link to a story about a family that was on Dr Phil. They have an older daughter Sarah and the triplets are Emma, Sophie, and Zoe. All way too popular and common for my taste (except for Sophie, I still love that name).
And to save you asking, they are congenitally blind and they are deaf from the drugs they were given as babies.
Also, the story that the mom tells in this article is very different from the one on the Dr Phil show. On the show the triplets don't seem to be getting special education of any kind, I never saw anybody try to communicate with one of them, and that older sister gets totally ignored. I really hope that the article is more accurate and that this family gets some help!
