Well...I love name William a lot as it is but since my other children names are short i'm looking for a nice nickname fo WilliamBill, Billy, Billie - NOOOO!!!Liam - I love it but my DH don't :-/Willie or Willy is sweet but...in UK it's also a body part :-/Will is ok but...a bit to plain to me and I'm wondering if I could make something nicer withit maybe?William mn will be Oliver and I was wondering...maybe Willo? how does it sounds? not to feminin? does it mean anything?Maybe you could suggest me something?

I love William :) Will and Billy/Bill are my favourites.I knew a William who went by Wim (rhymes with Jim, Kim etc).EDITED: Didn't actually realise that Wim was a real name :), I thought it was something his parents came up with.

I hatee Bill, Billy, Billie .. I'm not even sure why.I love Liam, even as a name on its own.
Will is great, and it ages well.You don't alwyas have to have a nickname, but since you said your other kids have short names that might work out ..Try things like this:
William Oliver .. W+Ol .. Wol
Just other random thoughts, I'm not sure what you're into as far as names.Wollie

I love the name William. My favorite nicknames are Liam/Will. Will seems like a great name to grow up with, and it ages well.

Liam or Will is my favorite. I do not like Bill, Billy, Willy...I think Liam Oliver and Will Oliver are nice... William Oliver is nice too. He doesn't necessarily need to have a short name because his siblings do.

Willo is def feminine. I vote for Liam but if dh doesn't like then Will is my next choice. I really like Oliver too.

Willo is feminine to me. Of all the NNs, if it were ME, I'd go with Will or Liam. As far as I can think, not much else you can do with it, unless it's like Lee or something and that's a stretch. Since your DH doesn't like Liam, I'd vote Will. JMO.

I like Will best. William Oliver is a great combo, but Willo is definitely feminine (Willow).

I like Bill, Billy, and Liam as nicknames for William.Willo is just weird. That would be just like calling him Willow. And Willow is no shorter than William so, why not just call him William if you were going to do that?What about Wilkie? Thats a nickname for William.-Tara

Yeah, Willie/ Willy is a body part here too :P But I know a few Willies (lol) and they don't ever get taunted.I love Liam! Please try and convince your DH!To be honest, the only other nn I can think of is Wally (William and Oliver).Love the combo, by the way!
