I llike Mary Jane a lot too, despite the connections. However, I've realized that a lot of my affection for it is based on the nn MJ, which I love. Since noticing that, I've been liking Megan Josephine, nn MJ. But anyway...

Mary Jane: I have to say there are just too many undesirable associations with it. Marijuana is a huge one, also shoes and those sticky peanut butter candies called Mary Janes. And I would also say Mary Jane doesn't need a mn since it's a double name already.
