We're expecting boy/girl twins in October. Somehow I thought that finding out the genders would make naming them easier, but it hasn't.
For the girl we are thinking either
Matilda Iris or
Linnea Eleanor.
Matilda Iris we just like, we'd probably call her
Tilly or
Tilda.
Linnea Eleanor we like, but also like the meaning of (
Linnea = twinflower, plus sounds like my mom's name, and
Eleanor is my grandma's name).
We're having a harder time with the boy name. We'd like to use the middle name
James after my husband's late grandfather (who was a twin and very proud of it). Some ideas we've had for the first name:
Nathaniel (which my husband vetoed as being "too boring, too biblical"),
Axel,
Ewan,
Phineas (
Julia Roberts may have killed this one for me) and
Peregrine ("
Perry"). The one we keep coming back to is
Peregrine, but I wonder if it's too much to saddle a person with?
Thoughts?
Can you suggest some other boy names that seem like they would fit with our style of names? Our last name is a single syllable and starts with "R".
Thanks!
