Hi, Pavlos! Do you mean that it is pronounced MEE-thee-a in modern Greek, or in classical Greek, or in both? In fact, since the pronunciation must have changed over the centuries, what do you guys do when talking about ancient Greek in modern Greek? In English we largely ignore the issue - we say Ethelred rather than Athelrad, poor chap.
