[Opinions] Re: wdyto Tallulah?
in reply to a message by kra
Actually Talulla is Irish for princess, while Tallulah is a different name meaning “leaping waters”.
It’s a nice name and all, but I always think of Tallulah Bankhead, and it does sound a bit silly but if you are worried about it it can always go in the mn spot, especially since it honours. Just out of interest, what is your name and your mums name?

Thanks for the info. Is Talulla pronounced the same as Tallulah? My name is Kayla, which is hardly Irish, but comes from an Irish surname, supposedly. My Mom's name is Janna.... a combo if Jane and Anna. Her middle name is Lou and was called Lulu belle as a kid. So the Lu-lah sound combines our names.

Cool. I wouldn't say it combines your names, but yeah I can see where your coming from with the sounds.I think Talulla and Tallulah are said the same, but I'm not 100% sure on that. Good luck finding a name you love :)
