Help[Surname] Gunnestad origin and meaning?
Does anyone know the meaning and/or origin of the surname Gunnestad? I believe it's Dutch or Norwegian but I'm not too sure. I know STAD usually mean's "place, town or city" but I'm not sure about Gunnes. Could it mean Gunn's Town?
