Vacation:

Daniel finally began to eat eggs again a few months ago, and he and Eoin teamed up to convince Ari, Draven, and Tristan of the story the two of them believed for most of their childhood. We can only be thankful Cata had the sense not to believe them.

Just after we found out I was expecting yet another set of twins, we went on a family vacation. Now that the kids are getting older, we figured it would be a lot easier, so we went to Disneyworld, Florida! The kids all loved it; Madeleine, Charlotte and Amelia had a great time meeting all the Princesses, and Felix especially loved meeting The Incredibles. Eliza and Alexis went on all the scary rides, and Eliza really enjoyed taking Teddy to do the character meeting; it let her get to meet them, too, without seeming 'not cool'. Everyone had a great time, and it was nice to get to be able to be away for a while before Milly and Jacob arrived! Since they've been here, Teddy's behaviour has been getting a little out of hand at times, but the other kids are really happy with their new brother and sister.

We now have four girls and four boys! Noah Gideon is the new baby of the family. The kids are overjoyed.
Before Noah was born, our family went to the Ireland. We stayed at a wonderful, kid-friendly hotel in a small town. All the kids made friends almost instantly and we could let them play the whole day with the other children and go on wonderful walks. Nobody wanted to go home after four weeks. We now have four girls and four boys! Noah Gideon is the new baby of the family. The kids are overjoyed.
Before Noah was born, our family went to the Ireland. We stayed at a wonderful, kid-friendly hotel in a small town. All the kids made friends almost instantly and we could let them play the whole day with the other children and go on wonderful walks. Nobody wanted to go home after four weeks. About a year ago, John and I decided to take the kids on a trip to Disneyland and California Adventure in Los Angeles, which really was a wonderful chance for us all to be together and have a lot of fun. The kids had a blast and spent each day getting on ride after ride, though each had a preference for their favorite rides.
Elisabeth's was Soarin' Over California, John's was Indiana Jones, Livvy's was Finding Nemo, Jake's was Pirates of the Caribbean, and though Grant couldn't get on very many rides, since he was only two at the time, he really enjoyed Dumbo.
A couple of months after arriving back home, John and I were thrilled to find out we were expecting another baby, and were later surprised with the miracle of two little ones. Julia Rebecca, whom we have nicknamed Julie, and Jude Benjamin, were met with much love and adoration by the family, especially their big sisters and brothers who can't get enough of them. I think we're done have children, but the seven that we have are all a blessing in their own unique way, and neither John, nor I, can imagine life any other way.

Well, recently Ryan, I and the kids took a trip to Disney World in Orlando, Florida where Ryan and I met years ago. We stayed there for five days staying at the Holiday Inn Sunspree Resort. Wow, I knew it would be a bit of a struggle taking young children around the park but I had know idea it was going to be this hard! It seemed like every one of the children wanted to go on a different ride! Ryan ended up taking Niklas and Thomas and I took Summer, Vangie, Delilah and Anthony and we planned to meet back where we started at 5:00 so we could all go and have dinner together. Well at 4:57, we were still in line for the "TriceraTop Spin," and once we were in that line, there was no getting out! Summer wanted to go on it so badly! We ended up being 45 minutes late. Ryan was furious because apparently he had showed up early because the twins had already gone on all the rides they were interested in. However we didn't let this ruin our vacation. We just chose to stay together at all times. :) Overall the kids had a great time and their already saying they want to go back! Maybe a few years from now when Helena's a little older and can enjoy the trip too.

A few months before Rachel and Sarah were born Mike and I took the kids to Disney World. All of them were so excited they could hardly contain themselves. Patrick and Evan spent most of the time on roller coasters, though they did ride a few kiddie rides with Annie, Lily, Sander, & Nick. The little kids had lots of fun too. Annie & Lily loved the "It's a Small World After All" ride and wanted to ride it over and over again. Sander hated that one, his and Nick's favorite part was the animal kingdom. All the kids had a good time and we want to be able to take them more places.
Patrick is doing really well lately. He's been working really hard in school and has been getting straight A's and we're really proud of him. He was in his school spelling bee and went out on the word "annihilate". He was sad about getting out but we were really proud of him.
Evan is 9 now and in fourth grade. He's not nearly as shy anymore and has lots of friends now. He's also doing very well in school. He's on the fourth grade basketball team for him school and scored his first basket last week. He was really excited and Mike and I were very proud of him.
Annie, Lily, and Sander are doing wonderful. They're in first grade now and they couldn't be doing better. They are surprisingly well-behaved and the teachers just love them. Sander is really good at math, Annie's good at science, and Lily really likes reading class. Mike and I were worried starting them in kindergarten. We were afraid they would overwork the teacher because having triplets is no easy feat. We are very pleased to know that they are doing well though and that they have a lot of friends.
Nick is also doing good. He really likes preschool and loves learning his letters and numbers. Ever since we got back from Disney he's been begging me to go again. We told him we would eventually and he's basically counting down the days until we can go again. Overall he's doing really well though and he's a big help with our new twins.
