[Opinions] Valencia
I was looking through the 'V' names on BtN, and I noticed this gem of a name. Actually, I'd heard it before through the Decemberists, but it didn't really strike me until just today.Because I do this once a week and it's tradition. ;)What do you think of Valencia?
What would good middle names be?
Good nick names?
Nice siblings?Thanks,Toni

I have that song stuck in my head now, which is ironic because I heard it earlier today. I love The Decemberists! Anyway, I was thinking as I listened to it again today that I rather like Valencia as a name. It isn't a name I would use, but I would love to hear it out there. I'm a bit picky with middle names and given the fact it is Spanish, I'd go with something either Spanish or Latin.

I'm picky too, I probably won't ever use it, but I love the sound and meaning.

It's got a nice sound, but I can only think of the orange.

What do you think of Valencia?
-- Having worked far too long in the Home Decor section of the retail world, I think of valences and curtains. But once I get past that, I think it's a pretty enough sound, but it's definitely not something I'd consider. What would good middle names be?
-- Something simple but not plain. Valencia Annette comes to mind. I'm tired and not thinking well, but that works for a "feel".Good nick names?
-- Val, but I don't really like that. Leni, Cia, Lenci, VallieNice siblings?
-- Octavia :D

I love the sound and the meaning and the uniquness of the name. I definitley give it a thumbs up and would love to see it on someone's little girl. Valencia Joan
Valencia Sofia
Valencia Helene
Valencia RoseI like just "V" or Vee for a nickname but I could see Lenny being a coll nn as well or Leni or Lencie. Val is a little boring but probably the most obvious.
