Helo, I happend to come across this and I disided to answer part of your question. As you can see my name is Nevena. I only know one meaning of it. The "neven" part means " marigold" (which is a yellow flower) And the "A" is there because I'm a girl. It's a weird name to have and everyone in school calls me Neveena.. or even worst "Nevada"
When I lived in Bulgaria at least people could pronounse it! I hope that helps!

Nevena comes from "neven" - the Bulgarian word for the orange garden flower, that is called "marigold" in English.
I have read somewhere that "neven" itself is derived from an old Slavic expression that means "immortal" (or, literally, "never dying"), but I wouldn't swear on that. By all means, Nevena is popularly associated with the flower.

Ignorant question (and possible answer for Barbara)
Can Bs be replaced by Vs in Hebrew? If so, Avital could simply be a variation of Abital:
ABITAL f Biblical
Pronounced: AB-i-tal
Means "my father is the night dew" in Hebrew. She was the fifth wife of David in the Old Testament.
Don't know about the other names, sorry.
