[Opinions] Giuliano
I am writing a story and there is a Spanish character that needed a name, so the first name that came in my head was Giuliano. But I dicovered that was an italian name so I changed it to Juliano but that sounded more Portuguese, so I decided to leave it and name the guy Juliano anyway. But it still doesn't sound right. Can Giuliano be acceptable as a Spanish name? Or is Juliano better? Or are both bad and I should get another name?

I agree with Christine, Julián or Julio would be more appropriate for a Spanish character.
I like Giuliano but it does sound too Italian. Juliano is Ok, but keep in mind that the pronunciation changes because in Spanish "Ju" sounds like the word "who". You could also use Julio or Julian instead.
I personally think you should keep Giuliano. No offense but i don't like Juliano.
