[Opinions] Willa
What do you think of the name Willa? It's my grandmother's name and I am thinking about naming my baby that if it's a girl.
Thanks!

Willa is very beautiful. I'd choose Willow, cause that's more of my style.

I like the name Willa. It could work on a tomboy or a 'girly' girl and works for a woman/girl of any age, imo.

I think it's very pretty. When I think of Will- names, I'd much rather a Willa than a Willow. The fact that it is your grandmother's name makes it even more special. It would be great if you would use it, I think. :)

I like it, especially as a nickname for Wilhelmina, but since it honors your grandmother I like it even more. It's not something I'd use though. What middle names are you considering?

I like it very much, and I find it nicer than Willow.

Willa is very sweet and nostalgic sounding. The fact that it is your grandmother's name seals the deal. Love it. I'm probably alone on this, but I think the nn Billie is cute for a girl. I work with a woman who named her dd Willa Rosemary, which is a nice combination. Just a thought.

You are not alone. I love the nn Billie on a girl. (Also love William "Bill" on a boy. A lot of the time I feel alone on that with all the Liams running around.) Also, ditto everything you said about Willa.Willa Rosemary is just lovely!

I love Willa. Its one of my fav. girl names, I think it's short, sweet, spunky, and uncommon. I love it so much.

It's pretty and feminine and there are a lot of names that would work well as a mn with it... I personally don't much like it because it reminds me of Willa Ford, a person who pretty much disgusts me.

It's not but style but nice enough, a bit dated but old-fashioned names are making a comeback these days. It would be a nice way to honour your grandma.

I really don't care for the name Willa. I couldn't tell you exactly why, I just don't like the sound of it. Will is such a masculine name, and just adding an A to it doesn't make it feminine enough, in my opinion. I feel the same way about Paula and some other feminizations, but not Victoria, because of the emphasis change in syllables.
