I first heard this name when I was in eighth grade and it fit the girl so nicely. Me and one of my close friends in high school actually both wanted to name our future daughters Joelle! It makes me think of an independent, athletic girl. I've liked this one for awhile.

I think it's lovely, especially for a middle name. I usually don't like "Jo-" names, but this is one that I adore. It sounds very lyrical to me.

I really like Joelle. I actually like Jolie a little more, but with the whole Angelina association, I don't know if I could actually use it, so to make a long story short, Joelle has replaced my Jolie fascination

I like it; it's different yet has substance. I've never known anyone named Joelle.

I actually like it a lot. It seems both sensible and kind of fantastical at the same time.

I dislike it, but I knew someone named this.

I don't like it. I like Joel for a boy, and I like Jo names for girls like Joanna, Joanne, Josephine, etc, but Joelle seems silly to me.
