Colin and I had been trying to have a child since we got married. When it looked like we weren't going to be able to, we put our name on the list to adopt... however, we got pregnant! About a week before Lia was born, we got a call that said we could a dopt a two year old boy. WE knew Lia was a girl, and Colin always wanted his daughter to ahve an older brother, so we said yes! Lia was born 1.5 weeks later, and Brett moved in shortly after. It works out great, as Blaine has a two year old daughter, and Jill just had a baby boy! All the kids have someone to play with when we get together.
