[Opinions] Tesia
What do you think of Tesia as a name? As far as I know, it's pronounced TESH-ah, though those with more knowledge may correct me if I'm off. :) I've always thought it rather pretty--my sister gave the name to a doll once--and it's on my mind tonight, for whatever reason. Also, thought: Clare Perpetua?Array

Tesia looks and sounds a bit trendy. If I saw it somewhere, I would think it is tes-yah, and a form of Tess or a nn of Theresia.Clare without i looks "misspellt" to me. Perpetua sounds a bit out there...

I think it is pretty and different.

Clare Perpetua is a lovely combo.I hate Tesia. TESS-ee-ah is lovely but TESH-ah sounds awful. It's really drunken and slurred sounding.

I'd assume TEES-ee-ah (or TEES-yah) or TEE-shah at first glance. TESH-ah is a little better, but just makes me think of John Tesh. :-/ Clare Perpetua is quite lovely. Dignified and balanced, but also quite feminine.

Tesia is quite prettyThough I suspect that it would be mispronounced quite often. I like it quite a bit, though.Clare Perpetua is quite Catholic, but since you're Catholic that's not a problem. I like the flow of it, but...I don't know. There is something slightly off with it, and I can't quite put my finger on it. This probably makes no sense with the name Perpetua, but it's a boring combo to me. Don't ask me why, but I just yawn when seeing it. It's too BTNesqe, I think.

It's rather frustrating, because while I really like Clare, it needs something very exciting to go with it...and somehow, all the other names I've thought to pair with it have ended up making bizarrely dull combos. It's really quite frustrating.Array
