John and I are happy to announce the arrival of our son, Jude Samuel! Jude was born June 24th, weighing 8 pounds, 4 ounces; 21 inches long. He has dark blonde hair and blue eyes and resembles John quite a bit.
The boys are, once again, thrilled to have a brother. They all get along wonderfully, especially when it comes to playing outside, and can't wait until Jude joins them. Jasmine and Elisabeth were hoping for a little sister and were disappointed, in the beginning, to be so outnumbered. They've come around, though, and both love their baby brother a lot.
John's parents came to visit, from Northern California, a few weeks before Jude was born and stayed for a few weeks after. The kids loved having them here and particularly enjoyed all the stories they have to tell. In fact, when it came time for them to leave, none wanted to let them get back on the airplane, so we're planning another visit very soon! :-)
