"Lin-weh" (first syllable like
Lynn) is a approximate pronunciation of the name. J.R.R. Tolkien often placed an umlaut (diaeresis) over the final "e" in Quenya names (personal and place names). Sometimes the umlaut is lost, as in Linwe, but the final e should still be pronounced Example: Nessimë, Finwë, Eldalië. According to Tolkien, the ending "-e" should be pronounced "eh"
