[Opinions] Isidore on a girl
I was reading a story today that I wrote when I was about eleven years old. The main character in the story is a girl named Isidore. Isadora has been popping in and out of my top five girls names for a while but, now I think about it, I really do like Isidore for a girl. WDYT? I know y'all are probably going to hate it but It's worth asking anyway.
P.s.
I wasn't even going to post this question at all untill I saw the post below. something about seeing the name Isadora made me think it wasn't a totally crazy idea

Absolutely not. That's why there's Isidora.
I like it on either gendr
It strikes me as very gauche, particularly when it's only a letter and a sound away from a very striking, legitimate girl's name.
Isidore is a fine name for a gentleman, but take a page from the great dancer Isadora Duncan, and use it instead. :)
Here's a picture of Ms. Duncan of which I'm particularly fond: http://www.danzaballet.com/userimages/image001okjuyh.jpg
