A lot of kanji have the same sound, so any name can be spelled with different kanji and two names/words can sound identical but have different meanings. "Mi", especially in female name, is often the kanji meaning beauty.

... Okay, I have no idea how to make that link! Maybe the helpful poster with the Bengali name will do it. There are over 50 kanji spellings of Miyabi.
