There have been occasions where a substitute teacher takes the typical pause at my name (there's always a pause) and has made the executive decision that my parents named me Alien. It's happened. Ugh. But I agree, Aaleighon is awful. It does have all the kre8tyvve qualities leading me to believe that it could indeed be pronounced Alied. But it's more likely that it's Uh-LEE-on. Whatever, still bad.
