Mary Jane, unfortunately, reminds me of marijuana. Mary Kate is all right but puts me in mind of not only the actress, but Mary Kaye cosmetics. The others I don't really like- I don't like very many double names. A lot of them sound clunky. I do like:
Annemarie or Annmarie
Marianne (or Marian)
Marilyn
Marlene (mar-LE-nuh, not mar-LEEN)
Rosemary
Suggestions for Marie names:
Marie-Cécile
Marie-Christiane
Marie-Rose
Marie-Jeanne
Marie-Catherine (ka-TREEN)
And for boys, Jean-Marie.
