One year has passed and you have a new addition to your family! It could be a child, an adopted child or a pet, depending on what you wrote in the writing for last round. You also got a random event, depending on what spouse you chose last round.

Random event: Jen gets a job offer in Europe (you can pick where), it's really the offer of a lifetime. Will she accept?
Travis and I are thrilled to announce the arrival of our first child, a son, whom we have named Grant William! Grant has been an absolute joy to our family and is such a happy baby with an easy-going disposition. Travis and I couldn't be happier to have him in our lives, and we are already looking forward to the day that we have another child (hopefully in the near future).
I recently was offered a job in Italy, one that many would call the offer of a lifetime. Though I did consider it, knowing it could be a once in a lifetime opportunity, I ultimately decided that right now just isn't the time for such a move. Now that we have Grant we'd love to remain in Los Angeles, near our families, so that he and his siblings will get to know their grandparents just as well as we knew ours growing up. And aside from that, I'm more than happy with the way things are going in my acting career. I'm lucky to be working a schedule on daytime television that is quite flexible and allows me to be the wife and mother I want to be.

It's been a whirlwind romance for Gia and Finn ... they met seven months ago at a football game, of all places. Finn was covering the game for his tv station and Gia was just out with some friends, having a good time. Little did she know that her 'good time' would land her face to face with the hunky guy from Channel 7's nightly sports brief! She jumped at the opportunity and invited him out for drinks after the game. They have been inseparable ever since -- In fact, they just got married last month and have been on a honeymoon road-trip across the country. Gia has made preparations to move in with Finn (he has a decent sized split-level). The couple plans to wait at least until Gia has finished up with her schooling (only another semester!) to think about having children, though they both DO want to be parents within the pretty near future.

Noelle and Andrew started to talk about children really fast but when Noelle got pregnant they were shocked. They wanted a baby but they waren't expecting to have a baby right now.
It turned out that it was a little girl. Noelle and Andrew were very happy until Noelle started to feel very wierd. Then, one day Noelle colapsed. She were rushed to the hospital were the doctors found out that Noelle had some problems with her heart.
To survive they had to deliver the baby right now.
Noelle wanted to give birth the normal way but half way during the birth the baby got stuck and the doctors couldn't find her hearthbeats. They were gone.
They had to take out the baby now otherwise both she and Noelle would die. When Noelle found out that she could loose her baby she accepted a c-section.
Finally the baby girl was born, healthy. She was a tiny little thing but she was doing well. Noelle on the other hand didn't feel so good. She had a heart attac but after some weeks at the hospital she is now doing fine.
The doctors told Noelle and Andrew that if they have another child it could be dangerous for both the baby and Noelle. Noelle and Andrew always wanted a big family with biological children and they had to think about the possibilitys of that now. They decided to try for another child and Noelle would take some pills and the docotrs have to check her up atleast once each week.

He works part-time at a horseback riding stable doing odd jobs and taking care of the horses. Wil enjoys school, but is ready to get out into the real world. He is a big fan of ice hockey and played in high school. Wil also likes playing the guitar and he has a decent voice. He isn't a big fan of peas, formal events, or large gatherings. Wil likes to hang out with his friends and knows how to cook. In a wife, Wil is looking for a sweet-tempered girl who likes him and respects him for who he is. Other than that, Wil doesn't really need anything, but ideally his girl would be tall and slim with dark red hair and green eyes with an athletic, spunky bend to her.

One year has passed. A lot has been going on in Wil's life this past year. He graduated from college last spring with all of his degrees. He quickly found a job as an athletic trainer's assistant and is enjoying his job very much. Wil usually goes to the horse stable on the weekends and works. Last month, Wil married Margaret Georgina Walter. He has known Maggie since his sophomore year of college when she entered as a freshman. Maggie and Wil have been friends the past three years and started dating eight months ago. Wil proposed to Maggie four months ago and the two were married three weeks ago. Wil is enjoying being married, but is finding it strange to come home to another person in the house. Because Maggie wants to be a doctor, she still has several years of school. She works part-time as a receptionist for a local doctor's office while attending school, but plans to quit next year when she enters med school. Wil and Maggie are renting a small apartment off campus until they save up enough to put a deposit on a house of their own. Wil would like to start a family right away, but understands that Maggie would love to finish school first.

Not long after Sean and Chelsea's wedding they decided to buy a dog. They went to the shelter and picked out a lovable black and white mutt they named Duncan. Duncan has been a wonderful addition to their family.
Not long after graduating Chelsea was hired to teach Kindergarten in the next town over. At the end of this last school year Sean and Chelsea went on a trip to Europe. While in Romania they saw an Orphanage there. After that visit Chelsea has decided that she would rather adopt unwanted children instead of having her own. while Sean thinks it would be wonderful to adopt, he really would also like to have biological children too. He has agreed to adopt a child first, but really hopes Chelsea will change her mind about having a biological child.

Joshua's nephew, Willie, recently lost his parents in a tragic hit-and-run as they were returning from the grocery store. As Joshua was his sister's only living relative, Willie was put in his care. The family is very happy together.

Joshua and Chelsea are happy to announce the birth of their son, Russell Benjamin Blanchard, named for his grandfather. Russ wasn't a surprise because both parents dearly wished for children. Even with Russ's cousin, Willie, moving in, Joshua and Chelsea still feel like their home is empty, and would really love to have more children. Russ isn't interfering too much, except with sleep. He's a very reserved little baby who likes to just listen to his parents talk and read him stories.

Random event: You and Travis tried and tried to have children but nothing was working. So you decided to adopt a child and just as you found out you were adopting, you found out you were pregnant! Now you have two babies in the house!

We're so excited to have Lucy! We've been calling her Lucy and Gracie because we honored two different relatives from both sides. She's absolutely wonderful and adorable and we're so happy she's here.
Now we have the issue of Andrew's cousin Jack wanting to move in. This is a huge problem, seeing as how Jack doesn't work (at all) and mooches off of various family members. Andrew's aunt Michele (Jack's mother) strongly dislikes any family member who will not allow Jack to stay with them. He stayed with Andrew's parents for two months, though he said he'd only be there a week! Though we're not too confident, Andrew has found a job for him and we've found a place he can live temporarily. We think that, as long as this job works out, his stay with us should be temporary.
