I am trying to find the best pronunciation of Cor-IN. Do you pronunciate Corinne...Cor-IN or Cor-EEN?

Any suggestions?

The one Corinne I know pronounces it 'COH-rin', almost like Corin

I've known two and this is how they say it, even though the spelling makes me want to say Co-reen.

I normally hear cor-een for Corinne. I think that's the British norm anyway.

I'd only ever seen it written down when i decided how to pronounce it - as cor-EEN. I think it sounds so much nicer that way, but the name will always remind me of the horrible mother in Flowers in the Attic!

I pronounce Corinne Cor-EEN. If I wanted Cor-IN, I would spell the name Corin or Coryn, even though it looks a bit creative.

The French and French Canadians say CoREEN.
I think most English-speakers say CorIN.
I like the second way better, but think the less-used name CoRINNA is prettiest of all.

No idea if this is right, but people I've met who spell it Corinne go by coh-RINN or cah-RINN, and those who spell it Corrine go by cor-EEN. Or something to that effect.
