I am slightly torn, but will likely fall to Mira (pronounced MIE-ruh only) as I tend to avoid "y" instead of "i" spellings. This name, however, is exceptional in that Mira is an Indian name meaning "sea" and a Hungarian name meaning "peace," while Myra is an English name meaning "myrrh." I think I prefer the flexible meanings of Mira slightly better.
I have decided it is short list-worthy because of the tragic loss of one of my ancestor's beautiful sister named Marian Elmira, "Mira" or "Myra" for short, but no one is sure on which spelling. I prefer Almira to Elmira, but I'd be more likely to use just Mira as a given name.
