I teach a little girl named Adie, which is short for Adrianna. I love the name my self and quite like Adia as well.

I know an Adrian nn Adie, so it's masculine to me

Adie is cute, but it could become confused with Addie.I can't think of anything other than what people already suggested for full names. Can I suggest Eda "Edie"? I've been in love with it for a while and have been bursting to suggest it.

I know a man called Adrian who uses this as his nn, so I can't really see it on a girl. But if I were to use it on a girl I'd use it as a nn for Adrienne, not AdelaideS xx

I prefer Addie, but it's still a cute name. I had it on my PNL for a long time and I still like it as a nn for Adelle. I really like Adelaide as well!

Adie is cute. It certainly could be a nn for Adelaide / Adeline / Adele / Adela / Ada. Also: Mairead, Sinead, Adrienne (depending on how you pronounce it), Phaedra, Mercedes, Edelweiss, Jade / Jada, Amadea, Fidelia ("fi-DAY-lia").

Cute, and I like it as a nickname for Adelaide. It could also be a nn for Adele or Adina.
