I think people would confuse it too much with Peyton / Payton as a FN. But as a MN, I think it works. There is nothing wrong with wanting to use a family surname as a MN.

Well, Peyton and Payton is really uncommon here (one man has Payton as a MN and one woman has Peyton as a FN and that's all in the whole country) so I don't think it will get confused.

Oh, oops :) [m]It's so popular in the US I tend to forget it may not be as common in other countries. So I guess that's a plus for Peyron :)
