Help[Opinions] WDYTO Vera?
I'm not usually big on girls names starting with V, and this seems maybe a little old lady-ish. But idk...I'm kind of liking it. I think it seems short and to the point, and the V hardens it up a bit...WDYT?

Sometimes I really like it and think it's quite pretty and versatile. Other times all I can think of is Vera Duckworth from Coronation St lol.

It really seems old lady-ish to me, most likely because it was the name of my great grandmother, but I am very fond of it. I really find it a lovely name.

It always reminds me of Vera Wang who I find quiet refined. I love the understated elegance of her clothes. And the name has the same clean, understated elegance and sophistication.

I really like Vera. It's warm & friendly. :) Very pleasant to look at and to say aloud. Makes me smile. I've known two, so it's not exactly "old lady" to me. More timeless and lovely.

I love the name Vera, but I'm biased. It was my grandmother's name. Her real name was Veronica, but she went by Vera.
In Russian it is pronounced "VYEHR-uh," which is even more gorgeous sounding to me than the zippy English pronunciation. Vera packs a punch in either language.
My favorite combination is Vera Inez.

I love Vera, but only pronounced VEER-uh.
Of course, old fashioned/old lady/old men names are among my favorite kinds of names. I think the majority of them work wonderfully on males and females of all ages, including babies and children.
