It depends what you mean by 'British.' If you mean old-fashioned, aristocratic sounding names, then
Emily
Harriet
Charlotte
William
George
Henry
Edward
are good examples.
However, coming from the north of England these are the 'British' names i hear most often:
Ellie
Anna
Jade
Jodie
Charlie
Jamie
Ethan
