[Opinions] I love Laurel

And I like Laura.
I don't get the difference between Laurie and Lori, I would pronounce them the same.
I would not use Laurence for a girl, unless I lived in France, where Laurence IS a female name (the male form is Laurent).
"You sought a flower and found a fruit. You sought a spring and found a sea. You sought a woman and found a soul. You are disappointed."
"It does not become me to make myself smaller than I am." (Edith Södergran 1891-1923)

Ponounciation is key! Take it from some one who knows!
When I visit in NY my relatives say Lor-ee but when meeting new people in NC they specifically ask weather it's Lawr-ee or Lor-ee. Strange! My mom says whatever comes to mind!

My NY relatives pronounce it Lor-ee too!
