Well, Ms Knightley certainly has put the Irish name Kiera / Ciara on the map. (*Curses to the gods who told her parents to spell it Keira!*)
Kira doesn't get enough credit as a Russian name. Cyra is lovely, but the sound is so different and the potential confusion with Kyra ("KIE-ruh") is so great that I wouldn't go there.
Oh, what a tangled web we weave when first we practice to name. Or something like that.
