It's strong and historic. I like it -- though it doesn't quite fit with my own family.
This name is uncommon (in the States, anyway), so a boy might develop a good sense of individuality -- or, he might hate you for naming him something so dramatically different from all the Jaydens, Tylers, Michaels and Christophers in his class.
Solomon is a bit mature and serious, but it also rings with wisdom and character.
