The feminine name Michal has nothing to do with the name Michael.
Michael was the biblical archangel of wisdom, while Michal (which is an originally feminine name) was the biblical king Saul's daughter. It doesn't have the meaning "who is like God"!

Yes, we know . . .Click on Michal and look at the second meaning. It's right there in the database.
