Kaylyn looks badly spelt with too many Ys. I'm not sure what spelling I would like better though. I prefer Caitlin or Kaitlin.

My daughter's name is Kaelyn. We got it from the Irish name Caoilainn (meaning slender and fair/white/pure). If I'd had my way, I think I would've spelled it Cailin, but hubby wanted Kaelyn and he won. :P
It is definitely getting much more popular, though. When we named her 2 years ago I'd never heard it anywhere. Now I seem to see it a lot online and have met one other little girl with the name and know of a teenage boy with the name, only spelled Kalen.

To be honest, I prefer the name Caitlyn. But this is still nice... I think the spelling Cailin,Cailyn, or Kailyn is better.

Trashy. Kayla / Kaila / Kayle / Kaile / Keyla / Keila / Keyle / Keile are the only legitimate forms to me.

I actually quite like the name, but I prefer the spelling Kaylan. I pronounce it the same as Kaylyn, but I just think it looks nicer as Kaylan. I like it best for a girl.

Kailyn or Kaelyn, and yes it is a nice name.

I love this name, although I prefer it on girls I have also seen it on boys but spelt differently. I know a little girl with this name. Her mom spelt it Kaylynn, I prefer it spelt this way. If it were to be used on a boy I would like Kalen better.

I love the name Kaylyn! I like it for a girl but could never use it because my best friends brother is named Kalen. I like the spellings Kaelyn and Kaylin.

Kaylyn is a pretty name, even though I prefer Kaitlin or Caitlin. Some alternate spellings would be Kaylen, Kailyn, or maybe Kalyn.

Kaylin, Kaylen, Kaelyn, Kailyn, Cailyn, etc. is a pretty name, but I dislike the spelling Kaylyn. It looks jumbled to me because of the multiple y's. Unfortunately, the name has gotten popular (especially if you add up all of the different spellings). Still a nice name though.

I liked this name about 10 or so years ago when I first starting seeing it (and spelled Kaylan, for some reason). But my tastes have changed a lot since then, and now it just looks made up and unsubstantial to me. So I don't care for it.

I really like this name. I would spell it Kaylen or Kaelyn. Kailen looks kinda cool too. Very pretty!
