[Opinions] Conna
Today, we were behind a car with one of those "baby on board" signs in the back, only it had been customized with what I assume to be the child's name - "Conna". I can't work it out. Is Conna a real name, or do you think it's just a kreativ spelling? To me, it looked like an attempt to feminize "Connor", but, for all I know, the child could have been a boy.

I think that maybe it was a way to try and feminise Connor, but i don't like it at all.

It could be a nickname for Concetta, or Constance, or something similar. I have five cousins named Concetta, and they all go by Connie, so it could be a variant.

eugh, I hope a few letters came off or something. It sounds like someone with a horrible New York (noo yoawk) accent trying for Connor. Like Edwid = Edward.
A is for Amy who fell down the stairs, B is for Basil assaulted by bears, C is for Clara who wasted away, D is for Desmond thrown out of a sleigh... !!!!!!!!!! - Tobias, Jesse, Wyatt, Shane, Preston, Maverick, Rebel, Gibson, Shiloh, and Timber... & - Andy

Maybe it's a nickname for Constanza...

Are you in a part of England where Connor and Conna would be pronounced the same way? If that's the case, it certainly could be a creative spelling of Connor. In Australia there are a great many people who use Tayla as an alternative spelling for Taylor.

I pronounce Connor and Conna the same - that's why my first impressions were that it could be a creative spelling.Got to say, I prefer "Tayla" to "Taylor". It looks much more feminine, IMO!

I'm afraid it would be a real name, even though I've never heard it. Maybe the baby's a girl and the parents really liked the name Connor, so they dropped the 'or' and added an 'a'. I don't think it would be a creative spelling of Connor, because wouldn't it be something like Konnor or Konner? I don't really know- not into the kreative spellings.
