Flora is pretty and I don't find it too princessy. I really like Lia, especially as a nickname for Rosalia.

Flora was my grandmother's name, so it still feels very old-fashioned to me. However, it has grown on me lately, and it is very feminine and classic. Lia is lovely, and can also be used as a nickname for many names. My niece is called Leah, but I have always preferred Lia. They both sound Italian to me, but I don't think they go together for some reason.

I think Flora is fabulous and not at all "princessy". In fact, I find it to be dusty and old ladyish (is the best of ways...seriously, it's a favorite of mine). Lia is beautiful, although I think I prefer Leah as a full name and Lia as a nn. I don't know why--Leah just seems more balanced and sturdy and Lia more nicknamey. Rosalia nn Lia is cute, but there are others that I'd prefer (Odilia, Ophelia, Juliana, Lilias...).

Flora is quite lovely. I don't find it princessy, but I think it's rather very feminine and very commanding.

Lia...I don't like so much. Doesn't appeal to me, but then again, I don't like the 'LEE-uh' pronunciation of Leah. :/

Flora is not princessy at all in my opinion. I like it, it's lovely. I like Lia better than Leah but it's still pronounced the same and too popular. I like Rosalia.

I really love Flora, and I'm glad you're pairing it with Lia. I hate it when people pair Flora with Fauna to make the corny phrase "flora and fauna". I used to love that combination, but now I like those names separately.

I don't like Flora, it sounds like an old woman IMO. I love Lia, as a nn for Amelia.

I can't take Flora seriously because it's the name of a brand of margarine here lol. But objectively it's nice and I don't think it's too princessey.
