I've disliked Rebecca all my life as well, and that hasn't changed. I don't think any of the nns are particularly nice sounding as well. The only nn I kinda like for it is Bex (we had a poster with that nn for it), or maybe Rivka. If you must, then Rebecca is the best option.

I think both Estella and Tabitha fit with it, Tabitha a bit better than Estella, but I dislike both of those names as well...
