[Opinions] Angella
I used to joke (to myself really - didn't think anyone other than name enthusiasts would see the humor) that my name, a 70's standby, Angela, could be modernized by added an extra "L" creating Angella.Ta-da! A new name for the "ella" bandwagon. Imagine my surprise when I went to Think Baby Names, http://thinkbabynames.com, and searched by ending with ella, and came across Angella. This was serious. The description was simply:The girl's name Angella \a-ngella, an-gella\ is a variant of Angela. I don't know how to read pronunciation keys however, and I'm not sure if it's pronounced exactly like Angela or if there is more stress on the ella end, like anj-ELLA. Anyway I find this humorous. Anyone agree with me? Or is Angella a completely usable variation of Angela?

This makes me think of the Pokemon Tangela, it would be humorous if it wasn't so horrifying.

I think it would be mispronounced and mispelled all the time

I think it's silly and pointless. an-JELL-ah sounds like a dessert or something.

It looks wrong. I dislike all forms of 'Angela'/'Angel'.
