It sounds very trendy, and using it on a character might be a mistake. Would the name hold well through time? I don't think it would. If it's for a personal writing for yourself, no problem. But if you're wanting to get this published at some point, Shaylie isn't the best choice.My personal opinion is less nice. I'm getting really sad that people are using Shay- as a prefix for trendy names... It's devaluing my own name, which is not trendy at all. And I like it that way. You may have picked it up somewhere else, but to me it sounds like a modern mangling of other names. Shaylie might have come from Shayla (which is quite trendy in itself), but I'm willing to bet it's actually just Shay + popular suffix -lie.
