EE-gor an-DREY-ev, where drey rhymes with day and grey. I haven't heard real, live Russians say it, but that's what it sounds like when said by people who know a bit of Russian.Good to see you on the board again, Profe!

Thanks, Anneza... you´re very kind. Btw, in Argentina, we´re playing Davis Cup against Russia and almost all journalist pronounce [an DREEV]. Thanks again.

The Spanish transcription is Ígor Andréyev, I suppose to mark precisely the correct pronunciation (stress and the final syllable yev):http://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/%C3%8Dgor_Andr%C3%A9yev
