Cairn on a boy? I've only ever heard this name twice, both times on girls so I guess I just think of it as a girls name.

Cairn on a girl? I've never heard that, but it must be different up north. I see a name meaning essentially pile of stones as pretty masculine. Actually poor Cairn Campbell he's pile-of-stones crooked-mouth!
I've seen quite a few Mirrens recently. I was thinking the spelling Mirrin might be a football fan honouring St Mirrin?!
