It does look like "ingrate" as RoxStar noticed, and I wouldn't use it outside of Wales, but I can't help but like it. Combo names like Annabeth, and names that *look* like combos, like Ingaret, are my Achilles heel. I like Ingrid, which helps.

Are you and RoxStar from the UK or something? Because where I'm from (I don't know if it's my age group or what), ingrate is a word that's rarely ever used. The last time I remember hearing it is in "Oliver Twist" I think...I just don't think that will be a problem, especially in childhood or teenage years.
