Help[Opinions] Exodus
Tell me what you think of that name. Also, the last time I checked, there were no replies to my post in The Lounge, so I was wondering if any of you knew if John-David Duggar has a girlfriend, fiance, or wife because they don't seem to get out of the house much.

not a fan of Exodus, but I another underused biblical term would be good: Zion, Jericho, Jerusalem, Israel, Canaan

Sorry but I really don't like it. It's just cumbersome, and reminds me of Leon Uris' Zionist novel by that name.

I don't think that John-David has a girlfriend. It was never mentioned on the show before. I don't believe he does.

Is Exodus for a girl or for a boy? I don't like it as a name on either gender, to be honest, but if it's on a girl, I think it's even worse. -us is about the most un-feminine ending any name can possibly have.

I don't like it as a name for my child but it is a good book in the Bible.
I have no idea if John-David Duggar has a girlfriend or not. Depending on his age he may not even be allowed to have a girlfriend. If he's dating anyone it's probably one of the girls from the Yates or Bates (I can't remember) family that was on TV with them a few weeks ago when they went sky diving and paintballing.

Your icon is mesmerizing! It was moving exactly in time with my music and made me giggle a lot.
And to answer the OP's question, I don't like the idea of Exodus as a name. I just don't think a mass departure of people is a good thing to name a kid after.
