I don't mind, I like both.
I'm more inclined to use ee-VAN-der, like Evadne.

I've never actually heard it said, that's how I'd say it though. That's how I hear it in my head when I read it.

This is actually the only way I've ever heard it pronounced, and didn't realize that other people pronounced it differently. I definitely prefer it this way.
