[Opinions] Tesni?
What do you think of it? Any names to go with it? Thanks!
Replies
I don't like it, never got its appeal. It looks like a brand or something to me.
Feels like it belongs in a word-scramble puzzle; it's odd to me. I don't really care for it. I'm not even sure what gender it's for without looking it up. Lovely meaning, but definitely not one of my favorite Welsh names.
Tesni Olwen
Tesni Bronwen
Tesni Anwen
Tesni Seren
Tesni Aderyn
Tesni Fflur
Tesni Fleur
Tesni Ffraid
Tesni Ffion
Tesni Bethan
Tesni Ceinwen
Tesni Carys
Tesni Mair
Tesni Eirwen
Tesni Mairwen
Tesni Gwyneth
Tesni Meiriona
Tesni Rhiannon
Tesni Aeronwen
Tesni Winifred
I tried to keep them Welsh so the name doesn't feel trendy (which I would definitely get if it was paired with an "American" name). Any that work for you?

Tesni Bronwen is beautiful!! Tesni Ceinwen, Tesni Mair, and Tesni Winifred are all very pretty as well.
I think I'm forcing myself to like it, though... I really love the idea of Welsh names, but I'm having trouble finding one I really love, besides Eirlys. I also feel that Welsh names, not unlike Spanish and Jewish names, sound sort of awkward when they aren't used on someone of that nationality (though I suppose only time will tell if I'll have children that will partly belong to those ethnicities, but I digress).

Do you have any additional info on it? I've never seen it before, but it seems kind of nicknamish to me.
It does have great meaning and I love the Tess (which so far I've only used for Teresa). Is it pronounced 'TEHS-nee'? I keep wanting to say Tesnia for some reason.
How about these:
Tesni Alexandra
Tesni Amelia
Tesni Aria
Tesni Olivia
Tesni Meredith
Tesni Julianna
Tesni Catherine
Tesni Brianna
Jenna Tesni
Margaret Tesni
Josephine Tesni
Calista Tesni
Sabrina Tesni
Edited: I've figured out why I don't like it, it reminds me of the word 'desni' which is teeth gum in Croatian.
