[Opinions] Eliza
I just saw the movie The Duchess and Eliza caught my attention WDYT of it? I'm using Elisabeth as a middle name for another combo.
I don't know how you feel about using nicknames, and names that are used together for different kids. I put mine below, I'm curious if anyone else would do the same or think it's okay to do that.
note: I personally view nicknames can be either just that or as different names as well just with the same meanings, especially ones that sound totally different than each other.
ETA: I'd only use nicknames / full names that are similar/same in meaning as a first name for one / middle name for another or both for middle names.

Well, as long as you don't have a daughter named Eliza Elisabeth, I think it is fine. I also would steer clear of a daughter Eliza and a daughter Elizabeth. If you had say, a Mary Elizabeth and a Eliza Jane, it could work out quite well (ie one as a middle name and the other as a first, or even both as middle names would work well).
I think Eliza is a great name. It has great connection with literature and popular culture, such as with Eliza Doolittle of My Fair Lady and Eliza Bennett of Pride and Prejudice.

Yes, I know that her name was Elizabeth, and I also know she went by Lizzy/Lizzie but there are also portions in the book in which she is referred to as Eliza Bennett. I just read it.
Keep in mind that I am reading the original edited version of the book and not subsequent re-writings. Perhaps in your version they have removed that diminutive.

LMS is right, she is repeatedly referred to as Eliza by Miss Bingley for example.
